    would you buy this gun??

The 329 would be a hunting/packing gun. I hear ya about the steel frame but on horse or foot, the thing would be like a 200 vs a 440 hanging on my hip. I might PM you about the 627 when I see what I get back in taxes this year.

Not sure what you mean but follow through, like in bird hunting or lack there of is a common problem I see at the range. At 800-1300 ft /sec(.45-9mm), very little if any lead is necessary on moving targets, (at the front edge not off target) inside 25yards, unless you are talking about someone...

I love revolvers as a self defense/ personal protection gun, especially for women and those who don't shoot often. That said I think the judge is too much gun for most. I haven't shot one and am only guessing. I too have heard and read good things about it. The price sounds right. Why is he...

Nice guns Paul. Not saying you are wrong Mike, 'cause I'm no expert on Federal law. Where did you get this. I guess if you avail yourself to one right/privilege, you give up another right.

You stats are more or less accurate. These distances are so close, not by choice, but by necessity on the part of those defending thenselves. We usually can't pick where and when our battles will take place, but if we can, we want to be in a position of advantage. If you are't cheatin, you aren't...

    would you buy this gun??

Just being brutally honest with my completely subjective opinion.... If you are not already an avid shooter, the 1911 would not be a platform I would recommend, unless you are committed to significant practice. Gun safety aside. there are many more user friendly guns to be had for a novice. I'd...
