I have modern saws but I always go back to the 266s
I started running them in the mid 80s
I'm just a occasionally timber cutter and firewooder anymore.
I just weighed these today
10-10 20" laminate bar
266xp 24" solid bar
husqvarna 460 20" bar
All full of fuel and oil.
That 460 is a gutless dog the Mac is stronger with more torque.
The ported 266 walks all over both of them.
Stopped by the local fire department they were throwing this Mac away
I put a Oregon fuel line in it and a china carb kit
It started on the second pull and runs and oils great
I was given a 20" and a 32" bar and new Oregon chains at a estate sale.
I never ran McCulloch's much before.
