Its so warm this winter. Its weird. But, it has been allowing me to do firewood at a more leisurely pace. But I still want a new little saw :-)

Thanks. I just do firewood small scale now. Mostly my own and maybe 10 more cord a year for friends. Its actually a lot of fun not having the pressure to maximize production for profit.

A flat bed truck makes life soooooo much easier than a pickup bed.

I use a pulp hook partly/mostly because I grew up using one in Maine. We sold our pulp, balsam fir and spruce, and poplar, bamagilyd. In 4' lengths. Fencing white cedar in various lengths from 6'-12' . Birch went 50" iirc. We fell, Limbed and bucked to length, then ricked along side...
