Tried that, didn't work. The rubber boot has to make an air seal before gas will dispense. You might be able to make it seal if you had four hands. Have you tried it?- bstewert

Now if someone can just show me a way to fill up my old '76 Chevy C-10 (when using those black accordion rubber boot nozzles) without spilling half the gas down the side of the truck.- bstewert

NO SPILL brand containers are the best for me. I have four of them. Gave away all my perfectly "good" Blitz cans after trying the NO SPILL once.- bstewert
