What ropes do you find have the best grip without gloves ? With all the ropes I have the only one I can get a halfway decent grip on without gloves is Arbormaster, and climbing in the rain sucks with gloves ( at least for me). There are several ropes I have not tried and a few new ones coming...
Just checking what you guys use for saddle storage bags. These bags work ok but getting a bit tattered. Definitely hold allot of stuff but a Bit bulky. Pics if you have them. Thanks!

I have several 14 -18 " diameter 75 ' red alder to take out . they are all leaning hard and on a steep bank. Any good felling tips that will help prevent splitting, or should I run a strap around above the cut ? Also have a few to pull over against the lean, would you notch them or just backcut...
Talking about the connection to the swivel( sorry bad pic ). Its a RE 36Kn swivel but I'm guessing thats a straight pull, no arrows visible. Be cool if they made a lockout swivel so when you didn't want the swivel you could orient it were you need it and lock it out. Guess I could just add a...

I have a Zubat witch works OK most of the time but looking for a more aggressive saw. was looking at the Ibuki. How long do the non impulse hardened blades last in comparison? do you guys sharpen them or just replace ? thanks.
is there is any other reason not to pressure wash a climbing rope other than forcing dirt into the rope? I've got a few pitched up ropes that will not get clean and at this point i don't care if the pressure washer forces it into the rope as long as its not on the outside were my hitch runs. thanks
I've climbed allot on a Blakes but never climbed on the Tautline hitch until today. Is it normal for the stopper knot to get sucked into the crossbar of the hitch and is it safe to climb with it that way. I ended up tying a second stopper knot with the remaining tail before I climbed on it...
I Find myself in allot of sappy Pitchy trees. My Rope wrench came to a screetching halt the other day , had to buck in and remove my hitchcord and clear some of the sap before I could move again. I've also had similar problems with the unicender. I'm guessing the HH wouldn't work much better...
was climbing on some Tendril today and having problems with binding on the descent. In checking things out I noticed the rope diameter bellow my hitch was about 50% bigger. So went to ground and cut off the factory tape job on the tail and milked off 4 feet of cover. I never really paid much...
Need a new rope for traditional climbing ( split tail blakes). all I've used is arborplex. It works OK but was looking for recommendations as there seems to be allot more ropes to chose from now.I guess the main consideration would be abrasion resistance as I plan to use it natural crotch only...
I have a couple of tired saws( 026 pro and MS-192) so I thought I would try a little light cylinder porting. I don't want to just start grinding away.I have been searching around for specs and jetting info but cant find anything. I have ported several 2 stroke motors with great results( jetskis...
Been playing around with this sett up for a while and haven't seen it posted anywhere, so anyway; SRT up with your UNi to the TIP or anywhere in between, tie in a good mid line knot . Attach up a couple of rated carabiners and pulleys as shown. I have used just carabiners and it works fine...
Was throwing the ball for dog the other day with a Chuckit and gears started turning; drill hole through a tennis ball, shove some pencil lead in it and run the throw line through. Good accuracy and got some up to 80 ft. My lab dog sure seems to be exited.
