Did a little favor for friends early this week; a pretty red oak in their back yard had a few limbs broken out by snow/ice this winter that needed to be cleaned up. It was an easy climb, and the baby back ribs and irish whisky afterwards made for a pleasant evening :D.

I'm glad to be able to still put it together, now and then. Old guys rule :D.

You look a bit tuckered in that last pic, Mr. B. ;)

I'm jealous. Wish I could still do that. Matter of fact, I don't think I climbed another 25 trees after the first Treehouse get together back in 2008 or so.

Good stuff Burnham. No shame in putting on the gear once in a while. Just don't drop your 200t rear handle in the creek again!

Nice little tree Burnham! (omg, I can't believe I just said that to Burnham of all people)

Nice job .There certainly is a difference in oak trees from those grown in the open to those in say my woods that are over 100 feet tall with the first limb about 45 feet .To add to that I didn't even know red oak grew on the west coast .

Good show Burnham:thumbup:

I have a few expectant neighbous waiting on free work now. Seems every time I go outside they are stood in the front yard, staring at their trees. It's as if they know when I'm coming out :)
