Ahhh, would have been surprising if it had still worked.

I remember when I went to the crane thing with Mayer Tree, I had only been in the business a few years and had never seen tree work on that scale. It blew me away!

Storm work from Monday. Took us all day but avoided bringing in a crane, which would have been difficult without closing the street (permits, bureaucracy, flagmen, euuurk!). Used a DWT with the GRCS and was able to just get it lifted enough to cut the ends off. We had two lines to control...

Basswood, linden or tilia if you want to get fancy.

The lift made the job easy, about 6 hours work. Climbing would have been a biatch!

Broken basswood today. Had everything rigged up nice and good to hold about a 25 foot piece. Cut the last hung up limb and the it didn't even move!!! Oh well!!!

Well anyone who is doing sales would have to know the daily numbers at least, from there he can extrapolate. Also, it would be hard to hide my profits if they know thery are getting a percentage of said profit...the math would be pretty simple. I have heard mixed ideas about revealing numbers...

I have three guys that I would like to give more responsabilities to: doing estimates and consultations, being ahead on mechanical issues, putting together and maintaining a safety and training program. This would allow me to concentrate on doing some business development, hiring new people...

Why would profit go down? I mean other than because you're sharing part of that profit with a few people?

How do they do it, the ones that do? I'm all down for equality, I don't need a Benz and an estate to live, but I do want my risk and work to be worth it. But so do my employees! I've looke into the COOP thing, and it seems good until you hit a certain point, then it gets complicated...
