    robina removals with crane

thanks guys , it was a pretty straight forward job so nothing to fancy going on in terms of tricky slinging or anything. i just came to cut the trees and left when they were done , all the cleanup was done by another firm.

    STERLING SCION 11.5 mm

I'm on the 11 Rich. Man thats a score, that'll be a super good access line . I think any smaller then 11 for working on is just too thin.

Playing with a 100 tone crane

I think chains bite harder then slings I'm honest and i find them to be more versatile ..... downside is they are twice the weight but I've never found that to be a problem. and yes ... notch if in doubt

Thanks guys , I appreciate the feedback. @cory I do think that is a big plus for chains , I don't have much experience using slings but in my limited experience I do prefer chains ....... they can be a bit of a pain when you are using big ones in the winter but I've got a pretty good ritual of...

    Using Two Climb Lines

Cheers sean, yeah your right mate, it works well in ddrt or srt. I mainly use it when I'm right out on the tips and theres nothing to securely lanyard into, it makes for some really comfy work positioning and a nice redundancy if you were to slip. (if you use it ddrt , just clip it to the...

    Using Two Climb Lines

I love using two lines , not necessarily together though. I use them quite regularly on big prunes/ deadwoods its super handy and saves a lot of upping and downing. throwing in and getting a good route to work on the way up just makes so much sense. I work a section on the wrench on the way...
