.This always surprises me. It's probably because of the way it's presented... But that's just my personal opinion, and it's not the truth!)It has always interested me how the "hot" peppers we get in our grocery, of the several varieties we use from time to time, can be so variable in the heat content...most especially the jalapenos. Some are merely sweetish warm, some will burn your lips off, most are somewhere in the middle.
Anyone know why?
