Fire-Roasted Tomato White Bean Soup tonight.

Last night we had fettuccini alfredo with hot spicy prawns. Homemade pasta by me, and M's scratch made alfredo sauce. The jalapenos where HOT this time around

It has always interested me how the "hot" peppers we get in our grocery, of the several varieties we use from time to time, can be so variable in the heat content...most especially the jalapenos. Some are merely sweetish warm, some will burn your lips off, most are somewhere in the middle 
.

Country-style boiled potatoes (the potatoes are boiled unpeeled and peeled after cooking), cod cutlets, some tomatoes and sweet peppers, and Olivie salad.

Was pushing daylight and the clock tonight. So I sauteed some chicken breasts and made ghetto chicken cordon bleu. No time to roll and stuff them.

Kristen made salmon picatta with penne pasta a few nights ago. Then last night I made ground beef stroganoff with mushrooms. The recipe was very fast and the noodles cook in the meat sauce. It came out a little gummy but still tasty. Then Kristen made sourdough baguettes. They were her best sourdough so far.
