What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

It has always interested me how the "hot" peppers we get in our grocery, of the several varieties we use from time to time, can be so variable in the heat content...most especially the jalapenos. Some are merely sweetish warm, some will burn your lips off, most are somewhere in the middle :).

Anyone know why?

This always surprises me. It's probably because of the way it's presented... But that's just my personal opinion, and it's not the truth!)
 
Kristen made salmon picatta with penne pasta a few nights ago. Then last night I made ground beef stroganoff with mushrooms. The recipe was very fast and the noodles cook in the meat sauce. It came out a little gummy but still tasty. Then Kristen made sourdough baguettes. They were her best sourdough so far.
