The Official Work Pictures Thread

Dude. I think I owe you a new slick-pin. Dang thing's darn near worn through. Did you ever get the bulldog bone... or are you holding out for the Akimbo like all of the cool kids?

Slapped this crispy hard today.. Lowered all the brush and had her topped in about 1.5 hours. Negative blocked 12 foot logs off it for milling and to make it fit in the back yard. Plywood road to just preserve the grass, help keep our clean up to a minimum, and to keep the guys from taking out sprinkler systems. Down hill slope to the fence. Butt tied the last bit, about 30 foot. Almost got the fence,...... almost.
Anyway. sweet little 1/2 day job and off to higher elevation. Some clients are putting Katy and I up in their cabin this weekend to take a look at their trees 2.5 hours out. Sold two more TDs in the neighborhood while we cleaned up. Productive day.
Silly fodder....

Ha, lol, I feel special!!...:big-rolling:

 Sounds like a beer, man... cept for the "crispy," part. :/: Golden Pine Ale?? I'm workin OT, man... I'm about to fire-up the Homebrew thread again. Unintelligible... I know... I know... Sorry gents. :drink:

Jedi, stay thirsty my friend...lol...we would say that back in the day!...Im to old to drink now, hurts all my joints and gives me headaches :|:

This place we stayed in with the HOs is a nice cabin off grid. Propane genny but we used propane lamps instead. It has running water gravity fed. Whole community there. Was an old ranch that got subdivided. Middle of no where. No internet or cell service (unless you take a quad ride up to the water tower :/: )
I got up and made some percolated coffee. Lady of the house got up and fed us biscuits and gravy, fresh baked cinnamon rolls, sausage pattys, fried potatoes and scrambled eggs. Then off to look at dead trees around the cabin and a tour of the little community. Only a couple year round residents. You store your water in tanks after November and ration until April as the main tower and community well is shut off. Dirt roads getting in and out. I think we were up around 4-5000 feet after running a 7000 foot elevation ridge. :dontknow:
Pretty place. See if we get the job. Day rate for the crew 4-5 days.

Looks great. Kinda like a working vacation.

Jim, I was pretty unintelligible when I typed that. I get a little dark when drinking and thinking.
