It was in reference to his salvage question. There is very little to any enforcement of timber theft around here.
Too much. I always hear these don’t hinge, and I wanted plenty between me and the top butt. Ended up a bit much which is why I had to wedge so much. Could have been lower and thinner, had bead weight. I figured better safe than sorry. Same story on the felling cut. I had to pull it all the way down. Could have gone thinner and gutted it. Had back weight because the top stripped all the limbs off the bottom half of the tree. Easier to leave a rope up there and pull than piece down limbs over the roof.David, how much stump shot on the top?
Nylon cutting boards cut down into stacking plates...a la Stig...good stuff. You were out of room, bottoming out, I think.
