The North Carolina Extension Service has a tree identification guide online.

Have been climbing since 83 . For tower logging in Southeast Alaska and speed climbing . With the arborist climbing really getting going in the early 90s . Then doing more in the thawed out months in Interior Alaska . Mostly take downs . Mostly spur climbing . But getting more into pruning and rope access . I am currently experimenting with different friction hitches .

Wrangell . One of the few town or villiges in Southeast Ive never lived in .
I live in the Deltana/Dekta Jubction area now and plan to stay . The winters can be extreme . But it jeeps the down southers at bay ;#)
