A used mini can be had for about the same $$$, just saying.

yeah but the mini is a heck of a lot heavier to haul around.....the winch does its job maintenance free.

Speaking of winchs, I have a 20 ton Tree Farmer skidder winch that can snap 5/8" steel mainlines.....but it weighs almost as much as a mini
I had that big winch mounted on my old 3 ton truck, skidded a lot of firewood with that setup back in the day, never got the truck stuck either.

Most fellas on the tree forums down know about skidder winches.....

They are weapons. Weapons of mass production.
