Morbark 290 gas serial number.

Hello all! I just got a morbark 290 with a ford 4 cylinder gas engine. I’m attempting to find the model number and serial number so I can request manuals. I found a tag on the valve cover but I don’t know if it’s for the entire machine or just the engine. Where can I find t the serial number if that’s not where it is? Thanks for looking.

Welcome to The House! The internet tells me the chipper serial is on the drawbar of the whole machine. I'm guessing your pic is for the motor only.

Agree , Mine has an inscribed plate welded on
