About the only way to get rid of palm “wood” is the landfill. It doesn’t burn well at all. Maybe if ripped into tiny pieces. I think it’s hard on chippers.

I have some good sized trunks I’ve been staring at trying to figure out what to do with them. I ripped one into some slabs, maybe to experiment with it as “lumber”, I don’t remember why. That was while green, now it’s dry and makes a nice light rigid insulation board. Only trick I guess is how to treat to make them “inert” or not rot and bug fodder.
