I use a pulp hook and find it Far better than lifting with bare hands

I’ve been slacking for most of March. I don’t know what’s going on but I can’t get motivated. Seasonal depression maybe or getting burnt out from work maybe. Don’t know but I’m forcing myself to do it now. Started yesterday and calling the cold plunge and my group of 100’s nonnegotiable. I don’t care if I’m late to work, it will be done

From my armchair I'd guess if you're 'slacking' its because you and your body, deep down inside, know that slacking is exactly what is currently best for you and you and your cause. :dude:

@Bodean I'm going to sign up for a 50k in Maine in September, it's on trails and it's apparently steep. I'd be very surprised if I finished it but I'm psyched to be involved with an ultra and to see how far I make it, likely mostly my hiking/walking. The 25 mile cutoff is at 9 hrs. The farthest I've ever gone walking is 19 miles on a sidewalk and 21 miles in soft beach sand. The Ultra book mentioned above is superb motivation for me as it is all about the ridiculous highs and lows of ultra.
