Idk if the eye-and-eye cords for HHs are life-support. Might came used, someplace.

The cord on a Hitch Hiker is not an eye to eye . E2E wouldnt work on an HH as they wouldnt fit in the dog bone .


My temporary hitch in the gitalong with srt climbing . Aside from having the time to practice . Is , advancing my HH with each step . I did come up with 1 way to advance it . Which works Great for advancing the HH , but is slow in climbing up the rope .
I clipped a biner in the bottom hole of my Kong, handled ascender . Run my climbing line from out the bottom of the HH , up through the biner then down through my right foot ascender .
Boy howdy , I take a big step up the rope with the foot ascender and it yards the HH right up the rope .
Though advancing the hand ascender is a 1 to 1 situation . The foot ascender is a 2 to 1 .
So it kinda doesnt work that great .
I'm going to play around with some ideas I have . In leau of spending a bunch of money on something I dont Need yet .
Do some more studying also .

The small eye to eye is a tending point that was made for them. Attaches where the crab slides through the devise. Eye captured by the crab on either side of the devise. Not perfect, but it works.

At the moment I'm modifying an 8x12 flatbed and installing it on my F550 . And doing firewood for the monthlies , ect . If I can snag some time with a clear head . I'll get with the climbing program

Posting pics is totally an internet connectivity thing . As we are off grid and away from town . And just my phone . I usualky have 1 bar of 4G if Im lucky . Everyone between me and the cell tower robs the band width .
When Im in Delta with 5 bars of 5G . Posting pics is a snap .
