Bar Oil Cost ...Geez

Stopped by tractor supply after a seminar in Turlock yesterday and picked up some oil @ 7 .00 a gal ($4.00 cheaper than what I pay local per gal). Thanks for the heads up. Should be good through the winter now. They also had some guys showing off their classic tractors

Costco has canola oil for something like 5 quarts/ liters for 6-7 bucks. I get enough saw exhaust, as is, without breathing petroleum bar oil mist. Bars may wear a bit more, but bars are cheaper than lungs. Maybe no difference in real life, but I'd rather go with the prudent choice where I can.

Good call Sean. I have been using canola from costo for the last year and a half or so.

Ive got the hook up on winter grade bar oil for $5 a gallon right now. Liking it.
