ISC flame block, tied to 5/8 Stable braid. For the continuous loop, 7/16 HTP. I'm always trying to fine tune my counterbalance system, where I can haul somebody with no climbing experience up for a nice view. Purely for fun.

So far I've used a few variations of the butterfly/biner/delta combo, but I'd like to eliminate gear at that point, and come up with just a knot to attach the end to the middle. For example, if I have a 200' rope and only want to go 50' up, I'll use 100' for the loop, and stash the extra 100' in a bag. That bag gets attached to the lighter person to help offset the weight differential. Usually I throw in something else, like the porty, to even out the weight. With the continuous loop, each person can "help" by pulling on the other persons rope.
