You could probably get a fine 20 cm bowl out of it, if it hasn't cracked too badly during drying. Find a local turner and commission her/him to do it.

I cut a side off a buttress on a large maple log in winter. It had a LOT of ripple. I was going to give it to a woodturning buddy, but the apprentice was so awed by it, that I ended up making him a bowl from it instead. Just another run of the mill salad bowl, but a nice piece of wood.

It is too thick for that, but it is no problem to turn one thin enough.

I finished up one of the rough turned bowls from post 399 and gave it to the apprentice today. Nice piece of wood.

Respect! That is way harder to do than turning.
