    Some spalting Jay we expected to find more tbh. Another friend of a friend has a CNC for wood so we plan to zipper or s them back together possibly. Really amazed at how many slabs we made. Out of just two pieces of this tree!

    Very nice works I've been playing with the wood in the evenings some stools and with all the pecan from the monster,still waiting on the 7ft Lucas to do the big ones but these are making me happy now. First two pecan still rough but I had to unload it in the rain saw the grain and figure in it...

    I am thinking long and hard about a niche with wood for my old age. The lady with the Lucas mill almost exclusively does crotch wood blanks for turners. A 8'×6'+x 2 1/2" natural edge table of it will live in my dinning room after three years setting. I get better money for "chimney logs"...

    Had some good fun today got all the crotch wood slabs done but one waiting on a 7ft bar to then do the rest. Pecan Really enjoy the Lucas so simple.
