With a couple boom rebuild it made us feel more at ease. Everything boom wise is brand new. I don’t even want to say how much they put into it. We have a 38 ton and we are probably going to sell it. I like the kbooms but i just feel the productivity with our crew is much higher with the stick crane.

Ha yea he is wrong, definitely needs a cdl. My crane doesn’t require a plate because the permit is considered the registration. Most of the permits will be auto issued so it’s pretty quick to get one. Maybe an hour or so.

Haha i still have the shirt I got you from you too!! Yes it’s a daily permit but most of our jobs are close so the permits are pretty reasonable.

Hi Cory, We purchased it from shawmut, came from a tree company. They did a complete boom overhaul prior to our purchase of it so everything boom wise is brand new. Yup we are still a small crew, just 4 of us. We do a lot of trees haha. EAB is still hitting us hard so it’s going to be fantastic...

Thanks Corey! We are very excited. The 23 was nice but we were always pushing it to the max. We were able to get a very good deal on this one so the upgrade cost wasn’t huge. Can’t wait to put it to work next week.

Thanks everyone! We are painting the cab white and the turret, bed, and boom our company green. It will hopefully look nice. I'm pretty sure I have a line on an almost new set of alcoas as well. If they don't work out I'll probably paint the wheels white.

Thanks guys! The short wheelbase is going to pretty nice! I can't wait to get it painted the pale yellow in my opinion is kind of ugly. But it's ready to go to work tomorrow.

Finally picked up our new truck yesterday. It's a 2005 sterling chassis and the boom is a 62' alc. The boom was pretty much just rebuilt. New bull gear, cylinder updates, new cables and hoses, new knuckle and new bearings. It should be good for a long time. I'm hoping to get it painted in the...
