Went to look at this guy today.
Owner was thinking some type of cottonwood. I some what agreed By looking at the bark. Leaves don?t quite resemble what I?m used to seeing tho. Kinda lost on it.
Only cottonwoods I?ve ever seen were huge and 150 ft tall

That would be nice. Going from looking at them in the woods to a yard is a big difference to me. Their overall structure seems so much different. Lack of leaves to go by on this one threw me off.

Found out a little more on my mystery tree. Simple, narrow slightly toothed leaves. Green in summer and red in the fall. No berries. Here is a piece from one of the branches. I wish I could find a leaf from it. It's driving me crazy. I'm guessing maybe sourwood?
I agree. I've just been busy. Bought a trailer, chopped up a trailer, then rebuilt it lol. Finally said to heck with hunting a mentor to learn the trade under. Done 5-6 removals. Turned down at least that many. Taking it slow and staying away from what I'm not comfortable with or equipped...
