Send the 026 to @huskihl ;-) And yes I think that would be a good setup. I ran a 4910 (I think) that he ported and it was super light and powerful for its size. Smaller version of my 346.

Sometimes I consider going back to all full size 3/8” ;-) simpler

On shorter bars I bet 23rs is faster. More cutters closer together. Maybe even on 24”, only concern would be chip flow.

I am reasonably certain that in 20” wood the 346 is faster than my ported 28” 70cc with std round ground work chain.

I ran a red 346 by Kevin last year, and I was impressed with how hard it pulled, so I had to have one too.

That’s about three parts saws…it’s what’s on the inside that counts.

A little playin with the “risky business” pine. Kevin ported 2166. It’s rare I get soft green wood. Next time I will break out the 3120.

Actually, 60cc ported would be about right for burying 20" in hard stuff.
