    Yum, young, tender poison ivy leaves are going down the hatch nicely this early springtime, they taste a bit like kale.

    Venison. It was a "roast" cut which I sliced into thin steaks for speed n ease of cooking. Delish!

    Wow those rakes look money! Speaking of apples, aint it crazy how some years they produce heavily and many others not so much? And it is a town wide thing, not just on particular properties.

    Speaking of berries, I can make a small contribution to this thread, the wineberries locally have been ripe over the past 2+ weeks and have been excellent, I forage a bunch or em around my house as well as several spots OTJ.

    You gardening folks- do you do alot of composting? I'm having trouble getting into it. Seems like something that once you get the hang of it, it's a probably a no brainer.
