Here's a pic of the one I'm wondering is better than a basic Brute can https://www.acehardware.com/departments/home-and-decor/trash-and-recycling/garbage-cans-and-recycling-bins/7697295?store=07504&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIw7m3ztnM7wIVqtSzCh1-hAHKEAQYAiABEgKbOfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Great pics. Hey off topic- Let's talk garbage cans! For treework I usually use "Brute" garbage can, a fairly HD, gray plastic can. They cost 45$ and usually only last 1 season cuz they always crack during cold weather use. So, overall I'd rate them meh. Anyone use the big, wide, green...

I hear ya but with a whizzy, you still have a level backcut, which I have a high comfort level with. So I guess my question is, is it as good as a whizzy, which does seem to be proven.

An uneven hinge with one side higher to give more hold- that's a new one on me. I think I kinda get it but is it really a thing?

Agreed. That's why I wonder how the political/right vs left/trump threads can go on inexorably. Same thing back and forth, same sarcasm back and forth, same unchanging POVs

Very nice. Hard on the axe handle I presume, unless the top of the saw is rounded.

Hey, if you don't have a mechanical under buck, had do you do it? Let it rub on another log placed in the right position? Sounds like a lotta work

Yeah I definetly spied that skimming thru the cross cut stuff. It comes out and says sawyers should not touch the sharpening process, only skilled saw filers in a shop setting.

Care to expand a bit on the govt use of crosscut saws? Hard to fathom for us who have used crosscut for an hour or two in our lifetime
