7-8 hours is a long time with no bathroom break or drink of water for most people. I wonder how the fire crew would not know ahead of time that their ladder truck would not reach.

I wondered if there was an internal maintenance ladder, too. Maybe that's how the first guy got up there. Would guess they had a belay AND a lowering system.

The article was a little short in details, but it sounds like it was more than a few guys just sitting around talking amongst themselves. It wonder what it was, and if previous actions to stop it were taken, and then ignored. What I don't like is punishing the whole team for actions of a few.

I'd like to know how many people on this forum actually had their personal life impacted by Colin not standing at some football game. I hardly paid any attentional to it. To me it was just a peaceful protest, something supposedly protected by the first amendment, and didn't hurt anybody...

Hey Butch, why is the landing strip on aircraft carriers positioned at an angle? Seems like they'd have more room if they went straight, plus the plane wouldn't have to come in at an angle to a moving straight line...
