Exactly... I had a job last week, where we did 17 spruces (shaping them of course), like 14 crab apples (full cut em in half reduce and shapes) and a couple of other small stuff... It can be rough in a way that big removals just arent. Is that an ARS long reach pole saw?

It hurts my neck thats for sure! It isnt my favorite thing to do, especially an entire day of it, but I dont HATE it. :) I was wishing I had my ARS long reach pruner that day. I promptly went out and fixed it!

Looks good! This is one of my favorite threads. We did an entire condo complex of ornamental trees, probly 40 or more. My phone battery was low so I only got a few before and afters but here they are:

I agree to a point but he is going to work himself out of a job. He hates tree work and it shows in his attitude. If the tree crews don't want him, and he burned up the lawn work he gets no hours.

No noise I could here... I saw it happen from about 10' away. Lawn tech + tree crew = byebye tools. His face was priceless as he watched the feedwheels slowly eat it. I wasnt going to make it in time to stop it and didnt want to be running towards the chipper if it was a 'duck and cover'...

Chipper, it went in through the feedwheels andactually came out the shoot! I dug that out of the chips believe it or not....Bandit 1590 I never thought that it was possible to pass something so large all the way through. The only thing it chipped was the wooden handle.
