Can’t forget Red Barchetta!! One of my favorite Rush songs. While I’ve never seen a Barchetta, the song makes you feel like you are racing around the countryside in one. Then, you wind down by the fire at your uncles cabin in the woods. Quite the adventure!

Metallicas first bassist Cliff Burton (RIP) had a solo called Anesthesia-pulling teeth. Worth a listen. He played with Metallica on the Kill ‘em all, Ride the lightning, and Master of puppets albums. All those albums are phenomenal.

That was great. Apocalyptica must have evolved since I’ve last seen anything from them. The drummer didn’t do the triplets (when it gets heavy) on the double bass drum and cheated by doing them with his hands on the tom tom. This can be forgiven as the string work was amazing.

Maybe try the Master of Puppets title track. Are you sure you haven’t heard their song entitled One? It was before sandman and received air play.

I loved Metallica until the “And justice for all” album. IMHO they went down fast on the self titled black album. They have been somewhat going back to their roots on the last few albums but it’s not the same.
