I will admit, I went back to the pot and dipped a few spuds in gravy by hand. It was a trial and error meal, I picked up some packets of the gravy mix and a new brand of corn bread muffins to try, both were a hit and super easy to make with only water and a bit of cooking involved. Took wife and the boy out for supper tonight. We went to a local pasta place called Antons (http://antonspastabar.com/). ate a big plate of food (Conchiglie Zio Carmelo) and took at least 2/3rd's of it home for leftovers. BIG portions and great food if you are ever in my neck of the woods.

Just spent a week living the bachelor life with wife and boy off in Hawaii, lots of meat and potatoes in my belly. Back to healthier eating later today.
