Interesting, bears look as fat as pigs, clearly not hungry.

I love telling young guys about when I worked in London as a younger man you had a book called the London A To Z, which had street maps that sat on your lap all the time, flicking the pages as you went deeper and deeper into the city.

Been around for a while (the lady on the ladder one) August Hunicke made the best comment. ’if that’s a husband and wife, what’s the betting he’s sleeping on the sofa for a few nights’

Dropped a chipper off at the job for tomorrow. The youngster cannot tow so I stole a march by getting it in place for a flying start in the morning. Anyway, on the way back there was a hunt going on an 100 yards in front of me a roe buck broke cover and charged across a field at full pelt. There...

Sure I get being aware there are bin men there, but the possibility that one of them will accidentally launch a baseball bat at your head from thirty yards is not going to be your first (or second) thought on seeing them. I would put her culpability at 0%

It was my Jack Russell’s most dearly held ambition to one day be able to catch and tear one of those tricky, elusive bastids apart. He never managed it.

Squirrel/bobcat thing was amazing, as Cory says I am surprised the squirrel lost. Wonder why the squirrel didn’t get higher on the few occasions he was above the cat? Can’t ask him now I suppose.

Mad vid, feel a bit sorry for the hawk! I would say (as a fully qualified animal behavioral scientist!) the sound of the rabbit is the key to explaining the reaction of the deer. The squeal/distress call seemed to galvanise the deer into action, awakening some king of defense response. I have...

I see people (and do it myself) cutting the gob whilst still roped above for ease of work positioning, then untying and resetting the line under the cut for the back cut. You only need one distraction between the two operations to cause you to forget the untying part.
