Speaking of "smelling weird" I wonder if some sort of natural anti microbial would help with that. Colloidal silver? Tea tree oil or rosemary oil if it didn't damage textile or cause skin irritation?

Costo has a three pac with very bright LED's at a great price. I ended up replacing all my previous headlamps because they were so much better.

When I went to ArbFest West Haix boots were represented there. I tried on a pair of their red chainsaw boots and really liked the fit in a wide size. Bought a pair and am now hoping to get a softer, lighter pair of their boots in wide for climbing without spurs...

Nice set up Stig. Kyle and anyone looking for shipping containers be sure to compare to new (one time used.) They were selling 20 footers here for $1400 to $1700 and they looked rough had door seal issues etc, etc. (End of their 20 year projected lifespan on the ocean.) One time use at the...

I have the numbers. I have been lazily buying loops from Baileys for a while after initially trying the Stihl chain in loops and liking it so much more than Oregon. I need to find a good price on 100 ft reels. (My Stihl dealer said he was too expensive.)

Good to know the Stihl chain runs smoother on it Stephen, thanks. I need to get a reel of Stihl 3/8 low pro and 3/8 standard coming. Madsen doesn't ship those to CA, any other affordable suppliers?

Wespur suggests a harder lay three strand that works very well with it, Arbor Master? It just slips till load is below slipping point. Only time I had it happen I was sliding big block cuts off a stem with no friction relief. It slipped a few inches of rope through system to relieve pressure.
