Dewitt earned his keep today lowering almost everything out of three longleaf pines. We had one beetle kill that had a fig tree under it that we were very careful with and after getting all the limbs down, the customer said; "You can cut that fig tree down if you want to, it's half dead anyway"...

Just caught up with you Jed, I'm tickled for you man. With your skills, you need to be running your own outfit. Cool pics Rich, Denver. I haven't posted a pic in a while, took out this beetle kill over a garage. Pic looks kinda fuzzy to me. Zipped most of the limbs which I love and is such a...

After zip lining limbs and tops out of a cluster of these long leafs yesterday, I hit the ground for lunch, took my hard hat off a little too close to one spar and splat, a big glob of sap right on top of the head. Had the Brylcreem look going with the GoJo last night. I thought about making an...

Awesome pics. Fun way to get a grinder into the yard but picking it up that high if I didn't have to would make me squirm!

My partner took a pic of this crazy 90 degree sand pine with the sun behind it. It was just as hot as the sun makes it look. We had already taken one off the roof after Irma and the homeowner wanted four more around the house gone. Why two were still standing is beyond me.

That's a pretty epic strike for sure Scott. Even though Florida gets the most strikes in the U.S., I've never seen anything even close to that intense.

As a matter of fact, the common name for them Jed is jelly palms. I like the fruit raw (when it's ripe), it's got a really good flavor.
