    The max flo cfm is much higher than the stock STIHL hd2 filter ... as you see in above video there is simply no comparison between the 2 especially if you are milling or cutting a chit-ton of firewood ... eventually the filter needs servicing or if you have a spare oiled and ready to go stop ...

    Imho the max flow system would be the ticket for the 066 and 088 ... You could also machine up a velocity stack to allow an oiled kn to be fitted ... the max flow has a cover which may prove beneficial if you are working in weather ! Best 59.99 I ever spent - me 461 and 660 have max-flow...

    ... this finger wears over time and the filter can allow fines into the firing chamber which WILL kill your Saw over time ... I machined an aluminum adapter to allow the use of an oiled k/n filter (no option for max/flow on these saws ! )

    362c after 2 tanks Buckin up some logs ... the 241c , 261c , and 362c all share this twist-on cartridge style filter ... as you can see fines are beginning to creep past the filter ! Greasing the lip helps but the flaw is the plastic cam-lock finger which retains the filter
