This years fini .. This stem shot shows how low a couple of the leaders are. We will, over time, remove the remaining low attached stem. Maybe next year. She kind of likes how it shades the wall as does her pooch.

They grow pretty fast too. These have yellow flowers. Very draught tolerant. Downside of pruning these two are the cactus around them that bite.

I wish I had the earlier pictures of this one. Nice little tree that the builder/seller told the new homeowner needed removed. I convinced him other wise. Then some storm damage right after we talked. Broken tops and a couple of the horizontals. Been a work in progress this one. Retrench from...

My concern is for the larger horizontal limbs failing under load. So I may (or shall I say I am going to attempt) talk her into some support under them. She is at a lower elevation than I but occasionally they can recieive a heavy wet snow load.

    Before & After Tree Care

This old friend saddened me today. Lady HO has hooked up with a boy friend that loves the ride on lawn mower. Both are getting up in years, so maintenance is an issue when it comes to fire safety. However, I just feel somethings need left alone to some point of minimalist. I have been pruning...

Yes. But again, customer block. That is what will be done should the rodents continue being an issue, they will go the route as you describe.

Some of it is keeping up with the Joneses. I did an install for a neighbor, they lijed my work. They consider drilling holes invasive. The tree IMO will do better with our mono winds and snow with a more dynamic system like installed. Allow it to move some. We'll see how it all pans out.

Yes. But the customer does not want wire rope. They have been advised that if it happens again, wire rope.

This was a new to me event we rectified (hopefully) today. Seems we have a mouse infestation at this account. 3 year old install got chewed up on the main line. Initial visit on the call, I found mouse droppings though I was looking for squirrel and rat. Turns out, they have wood bins on the...
