I see squid tubes at the fish shop and they are generally around 20 cm long, those tiny frozen ones with the pink bits are a bit average. We are blessed with seafood here.

made a red curry with chicken, eggplant, broccoli. sauce is from a can, Maesri brand. My friend had a thai missus and considers himself quite the curry jedi. He says maesri is the best curry from a can/jar. I'd have to agree it tasted pretty good.
