I'm mostly OK with getting old, but thinking about no longer being able to manage our rural acreage, and what the alternative might look like, gives me the heebee jeebeeies.
We had a doe in the back yard yesterday morning...about 12 feet from the picture windows. She watched us drink coffee and watch her back. Healthy looking, just like yours.
I'll report that M and I, on our regular almost daily walk of 4 miles or so in the woods and on logging roads we access from our house, noted an exceedingly fresh mountain lion scat pile in the middle of our trail. Nice, unless you step in it!
Yet again, Kyle...if we're really keeping score :D.
Not that I think it's a good idea to do that. I'd much rather we gently poke fun at each other's human foibles, and stay friends because we value each other.
