    Vegetable oil is preferred, soy is best but animal fat can be used. It has a higher gel point than veggie oil tho. Animal fat is better suited for synthetic motor oil blends, cosmetics, dog food, chicken food. It’s probably in stuff I don’t even want to know about.

    When I worked at Grove in the cylinder building I used hard wire but it was submerged arc, no helmet required. Good experience.
