    We shove the brush down ours a couple times a season, take out the baffle plate and catch a half bucket of crap. In between the Mr beats the bit sticking out the top with a wooden stick maybe once a month to loosen any buildup, usually a few handfuls.

    We took the cap off our chimney pipe...hasn't been on for about five years, stove works fine, better than with it on, no issues with rain, but then we don't get rain for days on end

    Firewood sells by the tonne here...it's confusing... We burn whatever we bring home from work, but this last winter our woodheap was a bit thin...too much still needed to dry so we got a couple loads from some friends who do firewood, nice dried eucalypt, man that stuff is nice!
