One of my top 3 bands of all time, Brett. Was lucky enough to see them 2x live way back when. Hemispheres is my favorite album of theirs, and The Trees fits in with this crew. This song is, IMHO, the greatest rock instrumental ever; I love cranking it on long drives...

I listened to Opeth a few times via friend's cassettes and the local metal station (WSOU; Seton Hall university; funny that a Catholic School has a radio station focused on metal and hardcore). Never really grabbed my attention, and after listening to these 2 posts, still doesn't really do it...

I believe acrylic paints; she hand drew the picture on it and then painted over it. She had a real knack for detail.

Okay, finally located this classic in one of my moving boxes; sister of a friend did it for me back in the 80's. I can barely fit into it now, but my son has used it for various Halloween costumes. Will probably be buried i n it.... ;) The actual album cover for comparison. One of my...

Was into a lot of the original 80's stuff like Metallica (saw them at a dive go-go bar on the Kill 'em All tour back then), Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus, Destruction, Kreator, Celtic Frost and the like. Also into the hardcore like old Corrosion of Conformity, The Cro Mags, Dirty Rotten Imbeciles and...

Type O's singer (Pete Steele) was originally in a band callled "Carnivore" back in the mid-80's to about 1990. I saw them about a half dozen times in my teens all over NYC, and still have one of my favorite shirts from then. It says on the back "If you can't Eat it or F$%k it, then Kill it"...

@cory That would be a good one to see, but not in her repertoire yet. These 2 she does will definitely get you pumped (and I love how her parents have her foot pedal action isolated in the corner to see how really in tune/good she is)... Communiation Breakown - Yoyoka Stone Cold Crazy - Yoyoka

Oh they were freaky back when that first album of theirs came out, but they mellowed after that and produced some really good, easier listening tunes as well. Just the old thrashin' metalhead in me that loves that classic... :boogie: :D
