What’s the purpose of the “wires” ?
Those would be the "Oh shit strings"..... ;) You pull on them to reverse the feed wheel if you start getting pulled into the chute. Morbark just refers to them as "safety Cables" in the manual and on the sticker on mine.- BeerGeek
