    I have caught and released them (as they fly into my house) at least a dozen times... Plus several other species , the biggest pain in the ass was a Robin.

    Evening Grossbeak ... First time I've ever seen one. Stopped by for a visit on the rail of the deck while we were working the container garden. A really very beautiful colored Bird.

    For years now been plenty Turkey Vultures here , beautiful flyers yet ugly up close. New thing now is Black Vultures moving here from points South , bigger and quite unafraid of Humans if there's something dead to eat.

    ...saw a group of migrating Hawks , wheeling there way North. Seems early but I'll take the sign of Spring. Wild Tom Turkeys have started strutting a bit too.

    ...appreciate the crazy migrations and behaviors....Cedar Waxwings come every year late in summer for the fruit from the one Juneberry tree here...the smaller Bohemians breed in the friggin' Arctic and fly to down to New England to Winter where it's "warm"
