I've found my keys in a field with witching sticks. Dowsing is a thing. If you focus on the leak, and not the pipe, you can find the fault in pvc plumbing. Was very helpful at the water company a great many times.

Climbing a rope is fast, sure. Setting that rope from the ground can be the absolute opposite.

This is why I haven't considered spurs a primary tree entry device. They're no good for what happened here. Besides I can climb a rope faster than spiking the tree anyway.
