Got a good source for Stihl parts online?

The chain I have now is skip. I don't remember where it came from, it's probably 20 years old. Very unlikely to find skip, or 105 dl locally.

I have been wondering about Xcut. The regular Oregon is too soft, I know that much.

Got a good source for Stihl parts online?

Any sources for Stihl chain? I'm looking for 33RS .050" 3/8" 105 DL. Amazon has one in full skip for $65, but shipping is way out.

The mills and tree cos are the only log trucks. No independent trucks any more.

Tons of rot, but there are a lot of solid sections, sadly very short because a line clearance co took it down. There are no log trucks to hire. My guy cut ten feet of frame off his log truck and put a dump body on it last summer.

We got the walnut home today. Going to have plenty of work next week.

My 32" bar was not sawing straight. I ran it over my grinder, and found the rails were very uneven, despite looking pretty nice. I think the longer bars are much less forgiving of being out of spec. I've got to do a lot of ripping tomorrow, so I'll find out quickly how it's cutting.

Reducing a 6' walnut so we can load it tomorrow to bring to my mill. More nibbling required.

As far as complexity, these older Japanese fuel systems fall somewhere between a wheel, and a wheel mounted on an axle.

    How'd it go today?

I was having some trouble with an injector after reassembling the Kubota. Japanese fuel systems are pretty primitive compared to today's common rail stuff, so I decided to take a chance and clean the injector. I'm not sure exactly what I cleaned out of it, but I ran for an hour with no skipping...

    How'd it go today?

Well, the battery is a crappy deal. I have a battery that will start the mill, but I'll have to plug the tractor in to the mill to run the hydraulics. I don't think the mill battery is coming back from 5.46 volts.

I had a little panic moment with the Kubota, but it turned to be a crappy hose clamp. Sawmill battery is junk. Wasn't expecting that. :(

Finished the tractor project in the dark, with freezing rain, because it isn't going to get any better any time soon.

I just met with the guy with the deep cycle batteries. They are mine, I just have to haul them home. 24, 6 volt batteries from his off grid solar setup. Now I'm looking for a controller to use then as grid tied backup for the house.
