    How'd it go today?

More rain! I really need some Filson gear, and to man up. Its a blessing this week, beyond building a chipper body, my current body gets picked up on saturday. After work the last three nights my knees hurt from putting down new flooring upstairs, i need to patch a hole in the concrete...

    How'd it go today?

Different property. I have three long term jobs/properties and a ton of other yearly pruning customers. This was a new customer thrown in for a day. Im way behind, but things are good.

    How'd it go today?

If every customer was as good, if every tree was as small, if every job had the view, if every day had the weather. Was a good day.

    Cables and bolts

My life got better when i stopped worrying about every job, even tho your capable. Its easier to refer someone else more properly equiped and willing to take the risk.

Hourly rate to subcontract, . Mini with BMG/ bucket and operator?

It?s wild when you think about it. I can get a crane for half a day for 6-700. Should the Mini cost close to the crane? Crane 200k. Mini 25k. Crane skilled operator, Mini can be a drunk operator. Just playing devils advocate. Tho I don’t sub out my secret weapons.

    Cables and bolts

Ill use cables to prevent failures, i dont think cables and rods should be used to fix failures. In todays world at least. I always think about Deva's run in, and his $20-30k dollar swing.

    Cables and bolts

Cover your ass. Bolting and cabling a tree is admiting that the tree is a hazard. I shy away from such activities.

I work on my own stuff but I understand minimums. I couldn?t tell if you were happy or upset. Irrelevant either way. I bet they enjoyed the cake.
