Did anybody else notice that all the restaurants have stopped serving tomatoes? They are trying to track down a salmonella outbreak or something. No tomatoes for my hamburger at Wendy's at lunch today.

Had a great steak & spuds and greens meal at the inlaws last night, we went up for my ma in law's bday for a visit.
Coupled with a few glasses of vino and a tasting of Lagavulin with my pops in law in the afternoon....

on the menu here tonight, spaghetti noodles with pesto sauce and chicken breast. cooking it up shortly, we had a late lunch as I played hooky from working today and we went out to visit my sister and the most recent nephew

i did that chilled salad of - "will kill you" Tomatoes, greens, grilled portabella mushroom, olives, banana peppers, capers, sliced provolone cheese, wally nuts, pea cans - or as I was told - PEACONS, dried cranberrys, raisins, dices cucumbers.
