I love this chain splice idea. We have one like the middle sling with an Xring in it. Works awesome. I also have one that I made for redirects while climbing.
Is the coating the only real difference between this and tenex? If so, why doesn't Samson step up their game and do the same thing?

Nick is the Trex available to buy in lengths? I can't seem to find it ( not very computer savy). I'd like to see how it specs out against tenex tec and amsteel and even Yales version of these hallow braids. I'm also curious as to diameters available. I wanna know what it'll take to " tie the top of the tree to the bottom of the tree, and cut that SOB in half".
