How'd it go today?

This might be one of the biggest Eastern White Pines in the state. I got DBH and marked my climb line estimating an 18 foot top that I didn't feel I should be storming around in. . . 45 minute hike in.

Thanks Raj. To a degree I could start to see a change in his behavior so I was expecting that I would have a bit of an argument sooner or later. Going for a horse ride next week which will be a bit of fun.

I feel ashamed wearing glasses:drink:

Anyone bother you over that, send them my way.

Hardly noticing my knee. Might climb or orchard ladder prune tomorrow. I need to be careful to be vigilant about not tweaking it here or there, by not paying attention, setting back the healing, like I've done so many times with my sprained knuckle, such as reaching for the steering wheel during a turn, backing out of a parking space or some mundane thing.

Not a great time to be pumping concrete. We're also getting ready to flip the switch on full scale 7200 distribution in about 2 hours. I just want to run chainsaw, this is crazy!

Insult to injury.

Called a guy about a wicked looking deal on some rims and tires for my truck. And not only were they sold but the guy managed to call me 'buddy' and then immediately hang up.

FFS. :big-mad-no:

Lol

Why is it that every small dump truck has that same dent in the tail gate? I swear that I've never seen one with out it. Does no one know that you need the chains hooked to raise the bed?

I spent the whole day yeasteday driving around the country looking at horses, since we need to find a replacement for our mare.
The short days we have in winter really are a pain in the ass for something like that. Not enough daylight hours to really get anything done.

Anyway, might have found a good one. We have one more to check out next week, before we decide.

Riding horses are plentiful here, particularly icelandic ponies, but trained drving and riding horses a scarce and expensive.

Picked this up from one of our jobs the other day. Something isn't working right about it but the motor might just need cleaning. Nice project for the winter. 20161208_115439.jpg
