Suddenly we have been invaded by these little buggers. Well probably not as sudden as one may think. Either way they are putting a major hurting on the Black Oaks around here. Trees that were presumably healthy last yr are about dead this yr. there is no rhyme or reason to it, as both young and old Oaks are being attacked. I drove by one this afternoon that is about sixty ft and spreads an easy eighty or more ft probably 48 DBH. It is nearly dead.
